Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy, peers and lifestyle on the personal financial management behaviour of management study program students. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study were management study program students who had taken financial planning courses and students aged 19-23 years. Determination of the sample was obtained through the non-probability and purposive sampling methods using the Slovin formula so that a total of 137 subjects were obtained. The data obtained were processed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that financial literacy, peers, and lifestyle variables had a partially positive and significant effect on students' financial management behaviour. Students can access information and knowledge, so their financial literacy is good.
