Peran Pendidikan Kewirausahaan dalam Memandirikan Generasi Muda di SMA 4 Palangka Raya

Abstract

This journal discusses the role of entrepreneurship education at SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya in making the younger generation independent. The entrepreneurship program at the school has a significant positive impact on its graduates, equipping them with practical and applicable skills in managing a business. Implementation of entrepreneurship education involves various practical activities such as recycling crafts, organic vegetable cultivation, and entrepreneurship competitions. Entrepreneurship education at SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya does not only focus on academic aspects, but also moral and physical, with the ultimate goal of preparing individuals to contribute effectively to society. Steps that can be taken to spark students' interest in entrepreneurship include understanding entrepreneurial awareness, skills training, and entrepreneurial competitions and projects. The strategies implemented at the school to promote creativity in teaching entrepreneurship include creativity-based projects and collaboration and discussions between students.
